Rajasthan has been home to some amazing holiday resorts which were ones the royal residences or royal court of their kings and queens. Counting one more in this list is Deogarh Mahal. Named after the city Deogarh, this palace is amazing.
I asked some of my traveler friends who have explored complete Rajasthan and they said Deogarh Mahal is a places where they want to go again and stay their for a while. So what is at this amazing palace?
Nestled amongst the Aravallis at a height of 2100ft., the Deogarh Mahal is an extremely magnificent structure. It is located right at the heart of Rajasthan that makes it an ideal stop to experience the desert closely.
The Deogarh Mahal is also known as the abode of the Gods due to its magnificence and grandeur. Even a glimpse of the Deogarh Mahal is capable of revealing the grandeur of the Mewar aristocracy. Deogarh also boasts of around a hundred lakes in and around the region that make it an enticing experience for the travellers.
Former residence of the Rawats, the palace has now been transformed into a luxury heritage hotel. The hotel welcomes all its guests with pure Mewari hospitality. You can experience village tours to observe the culture and adventures of the rugged countryside or take up jeep safaris or indulge into morning walks and bird watching.
So you can either book a Rajasthan tour package or direly contact the palace authorities but I am sure that they will straight away not offer an accommodation so try to get connect with a local tour or travel operator to get an accommodation book.
Plus we will suggest to stay at Deogarh Mahal for at least 2 days to explore the royal palace and the city. Well thats what the expert suggest. Our plan a trip from Jaipur to Udaipur and Deogarh Mahal will be in the way which I have booked for my coming holidays.
But do explore this rajasthani beauty for sure…
